Walk & Dine: Grovelands Park & Ambrosia Restaurant

We are happy to introduce a refreshing new way to enjoy good company, gentle exercise, and delicious local food, all in one outing!

Join us for a pleasant journey that begins with a tube ride to Southgate, followed by a scenic two-mile walk through the spacious Grovelands Park. Our destination is Ambrosia Restaurant in Winchmore Hill, where a set menu priced at £12 offers a wonderful choice of ten different dishes to suit every taste.

For those who prefer a shorter outing, you are very welcome to meet us directly at Ambrosia for the meal. Please note that booking is essential to secure your place.

After lunch, you may choose to:
A) enjoy the return walk to Southgate,
B) take an easy bus journey back down Green Lanes, or
C) travel by train from Winchmore Hill to Alexandra Palace, Hornsey, or Harringay stations.

Do not forget to bring your Freedom Pass if you have one, and comfortable shoes for the walk.
