Discounted Tickets: Black Liverpool, A Film, Book Launch & Conversation

About this event

For Black History Month, we’re happy to promote discounted tickets for just £3 for this special evening, Black Liverpool: Film, Book Launch & Q&A, with Professor Stephen Small. The event offers a fascinating opportunity to explore the rich and distinctive history of Liverpool’s Black community through rare archive film, extracts from Professor Small’s new book, and a Q&A and discussion. Drawing on decades of research and first-hand experience, Professor Small explores the influence of Africa, the Caribbean and the United States on Black life and culture in Liverpool, as well as themes of identity, politics, music, community and social change.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about a unique part of Black British history and hear directly from someone with deep personal and academic connections to Liverpool. To access the discount, register through our form and we’ll send you the discount code you need to book your ticket.
