Batik: Last Session!

About This Event:
After some fantastic gatherings, we are having one last Batik session with Cassandra! The word Batik originates from the Javanese word “tik” which mean to dot. An ancient practice of printing fabric with dyes and a wax resist, stemming from Indonesia, across South East Asia, from which she draws inspiration from. We will create some easy simple designs, following a series of processes to produce some fabric art works to take home. All materials are provided and no experience is necessary, venue accessible.
