DESCRIPTION:About this event\n\n\nWe are returning to the beautiful and tranquil Woodberry Wetlands for a refreshing Sunday walk filled with nature\, gentle exercise\, and good company. \nJoin us at 11:30 AM for a relaxed circular walk through this stunning nature reserve\, where you can enjoy open water views\, peaceful reedbeds\, and a chance to spot local wildlife and birds. The walk will last until around 1:30 PM\, though timing may vary slightly depending on the group’s pace. \nAlong the way\, we will pause at a welcoming café for refreshments and a short rest before continuing through the wetlands and returning to our starting point. For those who prefer a shorter outing\, there will be optional exit points along the route. \nWe will meet at the main exit of Manor House Station\, Green Lanes\, Finsbury Park (N4 1BZ). Please arrive promptly so that we can begin the walk together. DESCRIPTION:About this event\nThe route takes us through the three different Parks that run through the east of the borough. We meet at Chestnuts Community Centre at 11.30\, and stroll through the paths there\, before crossing West Green Road and entering the larger Downhill’s Park with its lawns and flowerbeds and leisure facilities. Then we cross into the even larger (48 acre) sprawling Lordship Park and take a turn through its Woodland Walk\, rounding its lake\, wildlife and extensive sports facilities\, and taking the path north to Lordship Lane\, before doubling back to Chestnuts. We couldn’t be more grateful for your inspiring work and continued support! \nThis new series continues to celebrate the creativity\, curiosity\, and imagination of everyone who joins. Designed for anyone who wants to explore art in a relaxed and supportive setting\, the classes provide a space to experiment\, play\, and express yourself freely. \nThey will take place weekly from 2pm to 3:30pm for 8 weeks\, starting on Wednesday 22d October. \nRegister\nWhile registration for this session is now closed\, we welcome expressions of interest for future classes.
