There will be two paces: Striders for those who prefer a brisker walk\, and Amblers for a more relaxed pace. The walk will last until around 1:30 PM\, though timing may vary slightly depending on the group’s pace. \nAlong the way\, we will pause at a welcoming café for refreshments and a short rest before continuing through the wetlands and returning to our starting point. For those who prefer a shorter outing\, there will be optional exit points along the route. \nWe will meet at the main exit of Manor House Station\, Green Lanes\, Finsbury Park (N4 1BZ). We meet at Chestnuts Community Centre at 11.30\, and stroll through the paths there\, before crossing West Green Road and entering the larger Downhill’s Park with its lawns and flowerbeds and leisure facilities.
