DESCRIPTION:About This Event: \nWe warmly invite you to join us for our next walk in the beautiful surroundings of Finsbury Park and the Parkland Walk. This relaxed and sociable outing is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the outdoors\, meet fellow members\, and take in the green spaces of North London\, with something for everyone regardless of pace. Our Amblers and Strollers can enjoy a gentle loop around Finsbury Park itself (1–1.5 hours)\, while our Striders will head up the Parkland Walk at a brisker pace before rejoining the group at the café\, with all walkers finishing together. With plenty of shade from the trees on this route\, it’s an ideal choice for whats expected to be a very warm day. We recommend comfortable walking shoes\, a bottle of water\, and light breathable clothing\, along with sun protection such as a hat\, sunglasses and sunscreen\, plus a light waterproof layer just in case.
